WAIYA INAUGURATES GOV. YUSUF PROJECT PROMOTION ADVOCATES FOR KWANKWASIYYA INSTAGRAM COMMUNITY
The Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has inaugurated the Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf Projects Promotion Advocates for Kwankwasiyya Instagram, a platform dedicated to promoting the achievements of the Kano State Government and fostering unity within the Kwankwasiyya Instagram community.
Speaking at the inauguration, Comrade Waiya described the initiative as a strategic effort to leverage social media in showcasing Governor Yusuf’s developmental strides.
He emphasized that the platform would not only raise awareness of ongoing projects across various sectors but also encourage collaboration within the digital community to amplify their impact.
He further highlighted the initiative’s importance in preserving and promoting the legacy of Abba Kabir Yusuf, ensuring that his accomplishments receive both local and global recognition.
The Commissioner also acknowledged and appreciated the vital role played by the youth in the success of the present administration, particularly through their active engagement on social media.
He commended their efforts in utilizing digital platforms to support the government, stating that their contributions were instrumental in shaping the political landscape of Kano State.
"Governor Yusuf has made remarkable contributions to the development of Kano State, and it is our responsibility to highlight these achievements," Waiya stated. "This initiative is a collective effort to educate the public and strengthen unity within our digital space," he added.
In her acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairperson of the group, Jamila Auwal Koki, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the initiative. She pledged to collaborate with members in enhancing public awareness of the state’s projects and achievements.
She also commended the Commissioner for his visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to the progress of Kano State.
