Northwest University in Kano State loses a lot of property due to fire
On behalf of Public Relation Officeer kano state fire service under the leadership of the DIRECTOR DFS ALH SANI ANAS. Today being 3rd April, 2025.at about 11:20am,
The state fire service control room received an emergency call from mannir Abdullahi came to the control and informed about fire that broke out at north west university kano.
The crew on duty from different fire station within metropolitan of the state were mobilised to the scene of incident.
On their arrival they found that it was a building of nine (9)floors of about 150×100feet used as kano state north west university offices caught fire from the eight (8) floor, 7 offices,and 1 corridor well alight,while 11 offices slightly alight all from the eight (8) floor, 4 jet from com 1,com 1b,com 4 and com 17 in used.
No casualties was reported during the operation and then several items worth thousand of naira were being saved during the fire operation.
